Soft light, warm neutrals
A private third-floor room, finished the way a good hotel finishes a room you will only stay in for an hour.
We chose the palette before we chose the equipment. Blush, ivory, a deep burgundy for the things that should feel anchored. Nothing white enough to glare, nothing dark enough to close in.
The result is a room that photographs well and — more to the point — feels better than it photographs.
